Great to meet you!

If you're dealing with anxiety that won't let up, a life change that's left you off-balance, or relationship tension that keeps getting in the way — I can help. After 10 years as a school social worker in St. Louis, I know what it looks like when people are overwhelmed, and what it actually takes to move through it. Today I work with adults navigating similar territory: the pressure that builds quietly, the transitions that feel harder than expected, the moments in relationships that leave you stuck. My focus is on making therapy practical, grounded, and worth your time.

My approach to therapy

I draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help you recognize patterns in your thinking and behavior that may be holding you back, and Solution-Focused techniques to build on your existing strengths toward goals that actually matter to you. In practice: I listen first, then we figure out what meaningful change looks like for you, then we build a path forward together. You'll leave sessions with tools you can use in real life — not just insight, but steps.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a conversation, not an evaluation. I'll ask questions to understand what's bringing you in and what you're hoping to get out of our time together. We'll begin identifying goals at whatever pace feels right — no pressure to have it all figured out before we start. My goal for that first meeting is simple: I want you to leave feeling like you made the right call reaching out.
