Great to meet you!

Welcome! It’s great to meet you! I am a licensed psychotherapist with over 10 years of experience providing a wide range of mental health services to children, teens, and adults in various settings including community-based clinics, residential facilities, and private practice. I am experienced in treating mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, trauma, and family & relationship challenges. Therapy is not a linear process, so congratulations on taking one step toward growth and healing, and I look forward to working with you!

My approach to therapy

My therapy approach is warm, friendly, and collaborative. It is my goal to create a safe and inviting environment for my clients so that we can build trust and effectively communicate during our therapy journey together. I take an individualized approach when working with my clients to ensure the process is meaningful and unique to my clients needs.

What you can expect from me

During our first session together, I will invite you to share your story and what brought you to seeking therapy at this time. I will typically also gather background information related to your past and present physical and mental health history, current relationships, childhood experiences and upbringing, your interests and strengths, and how you are currently functioning day-to-day. Having this information will help me better understand you and your needs so that we can develop specific goals and work on making small, meaningful steps toward change. I am looking forward to helping you along this journey!
