Great to meet you!

Hi! I'm Stephanie Guzman Alvarez, MA, LPCC. I am a bilingual (English and Spanish) therapist passionate about helping individuals navigate life's challenges with compassion and practical support. I specialize in working with Spanish-speaking adults, young professionals, and mothers who are balancing career demands, family responsibilities, life transitions, anxiety, and stress. My approach is warm, collaborative, and goal-oriented, helping clients build insight, resilience, and lasting tools for emotional well-being.

¡Hola! Soy Stephanie Guzman Alvarez, MA, LPCC.

My approach to therapy

I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients recognize and challenge patterns of thinking that may be keeping them stuck. CBT provides practical tools to manage anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions while building confidence and resilience.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know each other and discussing what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about your current concerns, personal history, strengths, and goals so I can better understand how to support you. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions, learn about my approach, and determine whether we’re a good fit. My goal is to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and comfortable beginning your therapy journey.
