Great to meet you!

The patterns that keep you stuck usually made perfect sense once. Finding out when, and what to do instead, is where we start. I am Stephanie, an LCSW with a Doctorate in Social Work and seven years of experience working with adults through trauma, grief, substance use, anxiety, and the identity questions that do not resolve on their own. I am LGBTQ+ affirming and direct by nature. I do not do vague, I do not waste your time, and I work best with people who are done waiting to feel better and ready to actually do something about it.

My approach to therapy

My work draws from Attachment-Based Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and CBT. I am more interested in understanding the pattern than labeling the symptom. We will look at where your ways of coping came from, whether they are still working, and what you want to build instead. Everything is shaped around you, not a protocol.

What you can expect from me

Less intake, more beginning. We will talk, I will listen closely, and by the end you will have a clear sense of whether this is the right fit. The first session is just us getting to know each other. Nothing more is required of you than that. That matters to me as much as it does to you.
