Great to meet you!

I have been in the mental health field for over 10 years. I went into this field due to genuine desire to help others. I have great empathy and compassion for the difficulties people experience in life. Clients have told me that I am caring, supportive, encouraging, and nonjudgemental.

My approach to therapy

I have a person-centered approach where ultimately you determine what you want to work on and set goals for what you want to achieve through counseling. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy which helps you identify and challenge unhealthy thought patterns and learn practical self-help strategies. For clients with PTSD I use Cognitive Processing Therapy.

What you can expect from me

Usually, when someone contacts a counselor there are issues in their life that they want to improve. Through therapy, people can make changes leading to a happier, more fulfilling life.
