Great to meet you!

Outside of the therapy room, I have a deep passion for horsemanship—particularly working with reining horses. My time spent training, observing, and building trust with horses has shaped how I understand connection, communication, and emotional regulation. Horses are incredibly honest, intuitive animals, and working with them requires patience, presence, and a deep respect for nonverbal cues—all qualities that I bring into my therapeutic work.

Horsemanship has taught me the value of consistency, the importance of creating a sense of safety, and how meaningful growth often happens through subtle, steady progress rather than quick fixes. Just like working with a horse, therapy is a relational process built on trust and mutual understanding. I approach clients with the same calm, grounded energy that I bring to the barn—listening carefully, responding thoughtfully, and honoring the pace that feels right for them.

In therapy, I take a solution-focused approach that blends compassion with a realistic, grounded feel. My focus is on helping clients identify what’s working, build on their strengths, and develop practical strategies that support real, sustainable change. The goal is not perfection—it’s helping each person move toward the most authentic, empowered version of themselves. Together, we work toward lasting change that supports emotional well-being, personal growth, and a more fulfilling life.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, client-centered, and rooted in the belief that every individual has the capacity for growth and healing. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. I draw from evidence-based practices, including cognitive-behavioral, trauma-informed, and mindfulness-based interventions, and tailor each session to meet the unique needs of the individual or family. My goal is to help clients build insight, develop practical skills, and foster resilience as they navigate life’s challenges and move toward lasting change.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients can expect to leave sessions feeling supported, heard, and equipped with practical tools they can apply in real life. My goal is to help you gain clarity, build confidence, and develop strategies that move you toward the life you want. Whether we're working through past challenges or focusing on present goals, each session is designed to help you feel more grounded and capable.

I take a solution-focused, realistic approach with the belief that therapy is a powerful tool—but not one that should last forever. My aim is to help you build the insight, resilience, and coping skills needed so that, over time, you no longer need therapy to thrive. I want our work to empower you to take what you’ve learned and continue forward with a greater sense of confidence and self-trust.

You can expect honest conversations, meaningful progress, and a therapeutic relationship that supports lasting change. The end goal is not just to feel better—but to live better, aligned with the best version of yourself.
