Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Stephanie, a Latina therapist and second-generation Mexican American offering virtual therapy across Illinois. I support eldest daughters, Latinx, BIPOC, LGBTQIA2S+, and first responder communities navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, relationship stress, cultural identity, people-pleasing, family responsibilities, and intergenerational trauma. I especially enjoy helping eldest daughters who are used to being the responsible one learn to set boundaries, prioritize themselves, find balance, and reconnect with who they are outside of what others need from them.

My approach to therapy

Therapy with me is collaborative, personalized, and rooted in your needs. Your voice, goals, culture, and identity matter. I draw from DBT, CBT, CFT, mindfulness, and psychodynamic approaches to create a safe and compassionate space. Together, we’ll explore challenges, build coping tools, and support healing, growth, and lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, but you don’t have to do it alone. I offer a safe, affirming space for clients to explore emotions, heal from stress, and reconnect with themselves. Together, we’ll move at your pace while honoring your story, culture, identity, and the strength it took to begin.
