Great to meet you!

Stephanie provides an uplifting, positive & hopeful experience. Therapy should be a place where you can show up exactly as you are without fear of judgment. Stephanie's goal is to help you better understand yourself, develop practical coping skills, and build the confidence to navigate life's challenges through reflection and collaboration. Stephanie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who uses an integrative approach to support adolescents & adults experiencing life's various complexities.

My approach to therapy

I understand that coming to talk with a stranger about your personal life can be anxiety provoking, but my approach is to provide you with a safe place to talk about any issues or concerns without feeling judged.

I am realistic and believe that living the kind of life you desire is not about avoiding distress and challenges. It is about learning skills and having the right tools to function while feeling distress and facing those challenges. True growth occurs in the face of discomfort, so therapy is not always easy. I provide a safe space while you go through those times of discomfort - that's when real transformation and empowerment occurs.

What you can expect from me

I believe we all have the innate ability to heal and overcome challenges. I am here to be your driving force for peace and balance and a chance to rediscover yourself. I welcome people of all cultures, beliefs, identities, and orientations. Wherever you are on your journey, I am here to hear your story and help you achieve your goals.

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. We'll talk about what you've been carrying, what goals you want to work on, and what you're hoping to get out of therapy. You'll have the opportunity to ask questions and share as much or as little as you feel ready to.
