Great to meet you!

I’m Stephanie Jairam, a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Family Nurse Practitioner. I work with adults and adolescents navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, insomnia, PTSD, PMDD, OCD, and other mood-related concerns who are seeking supportive, effective treatment.

My background in healthcare gives me a well-rounded perspective. I take a holistic approach, recognizing the close connection between mental and physical health. I’m known for being collaborative, non-judgmental, and thorough, and I strive to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported throughout your care.

My approach to therapy

My approach is individualized, comprehensive, and evidence-based. I look beyond symptoms to understand the full picture of your well-being—including lifestyle, stress, sleep patterns, and overall physical health.

  • Comprehensive evaluations to ensure accurate diagnosis and ongoing reassessment as your needs evolve
  • Personalized medication management tailored to your symptoms, goals, and comfort level
  • CBT-informed and supportive therapy techniques to build practical coping skills and lasting resilience
  • A focus on improving daily functioning, relationships, productivity, emotional well-being, and overall quality of life
  • Ongoing collaboration and education so you feel informed, empowered, and actively involved in your treatment

I understand that seeking help can feel overwhelming, and I strive to create a supportive, judgment-free environment where you feel comfortable discussing your concerns openly. Together, we'll develop a treatment plan that feels realistic, effective, and aligned with your goals to help you achieve meaningful improvement, so you can feel more confident, balanced, and in control of your daily life.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation designed to help you feel heard, understood, and supported from the very beginning.

During this session, we will:

  • Explore your current concerns, symptoms, life stressors, and treatment goals
  • Review your mental health, medical history, previous medication experiences, and the ways your symptoms may be affecting your work, relationships, daily functioning, and overall quality of life

By the end of our session, you'll have a clearer understanding of what's going on, potential diagnoses when appropriate, and a personalized treatment plan tailored to your unique needs. This may include medication recommendations, therapy strategies, lifestyle interventions, or additional resources to support your progress. My goal is for you to leave your first appointment feeling validated, informed, and hopeful about the path forward.
