Great to meet you!

I work with adults and families seeking support for anxiety, depression, stress, relationship strain, anger, or family conflict are a strong fit for my practice.

Many come in feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in patterns that affect daily life, self-esteem, and close relationships.

I offer a warm, nonjudgmental space and a collaborative, direct approach focused on insight, emotional regulation, and practical tools for change. If you're ready to feel more grounded and move forward, I’d love to support you.

I am direct but compassionate in my style, and I focus on helping clients build practical coping skills, strengthen emotional regulation, and better understand patterns that may be impacting their mental health and relationships. I also value authenticity in the therapeutic relationship and encourage open, honest communication so that therapy feels meaningful and effective.

You can expect me to meet you where you are while also supporting you in moving toward growth, healing, and increased emotional well-being at a pace that feels manageable for you.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, client-centered, and tailored to each individual’s unique needs and goals. I believe that you are the expert in your own life, and my role is to support you in building insight, developing effective coping strategies, and navigating challenges in a way that feels manageable and meaningful.

I primarily integrate evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and person-centered approaches. I also incorporate trauma-informed care and mindfulness-based strategies when appropriate, with a focus on emotional regulation, thought patterns, and behavior change.

Therapy with me is a supportive and nonjudgmental space where we can explore current stressors, relationship dynamics, and past experiences that may be impacting your present functioning. I also focus on building practical skills that can be applied outside of sessions to support long-term growth and stability.

Overall, my goal is to help you increase emotional resilience, improve self-understanding, and support you in making meaningful, sustainable changes aligned with your values and goals.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where we begin building a foundation for the therapeutic relationship. The initial session is primarily focused on getting to know you, understanding what brings you to therapy, and identifying your current concerns and goals.

We will talk about what has been going on recently, any relevant history that may be helpful, and what you are hoping to get out of therapy. I may also ask questions about mood, sleep, stress levels, relationships, and coping strategies to better understand your overall functioning. This helps guide treatment planning and ensures therapy is tailored to your needs.

We will also review confidentiality, informed consent, and basic expectations for therapy so you feel informed and comfortable moving forward. You are welcome to ask questions at any point during the session.

My goal in the first session is to help you feel heard, supported, and understood while beginning to identify a direction for our work together at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you.
