Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist driven by a lifelong desire to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. Before entering the counseling field, I spent many years in business leadership and ultimately transitioned into my second career to focus on what mattered most to me—helping individuals and families heal, grow, and thrive.

I received both my Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Counseling from California State University, Fullerton. I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, addiction, family systems concerns, relationship issues, and a wide range of mental health needs. I have experience working with children, teens, adults, and families, and spent eight years in a residential treatment center for adolescents, supporting youth through complex emotional and behavioral challenges.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that everyone has the capacity for meaningful change. I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard, empowered, and understood.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and centered on creating a safe space where clients feel supported, heard, and understood. I believe that meaningful change happens when people feel empowered to explore their experiences and build on their strengths.

I draw from evidence-based practices and integrate techniques that fit each individual’s needs. I focus on understanding the whole person within their environment and relationships. I value transparency, open communication, and working together to set goals that feel realistic and meaningful.

My role is to guide, support, and walk alongside clients as they navigate challenges, develop new skills, and move toward a healthier and more fulfilling life.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my goal is to help you feel comfortable, supported, and informed. We’ll spend time getting to know each other and discussing what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about your history, current concerns, and what you hope to achieve, but there’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready for.

You can expect a conversational and collaborative atmosphere. We’ll explore what’s been challenging for you, identify immediate needs, and begin clarifying your goals. I’ll also explain how therapy works, what our sessions might look like, and answer any questions you may have about the process.
