Great to meet you!

I have been working as a therapist for over 20 years and have experience in inpatient hospital settings, community mental health and private practice.

My approach to therapy

I want to get to know my clients well and understand how they are best able to go forward with making changes in their lives. I use an eclectic approach including the best components of Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectical Behavioral and supportive therapies.

What you can expect from me

Understanding why we do what we do is the first step in making positive, lasting change. Life poses challenges and I believe that it is how we approach those challenges that makes a difference in the outcome. I help my clients by learning about their lives, working with them on their challenges, and helping them find the spark that makes them unique. Through compassion, humor and gentle confrontation, I help people heal and navigate through life's tough stuff in a supportive, safe environment
