Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over a decade of clinical experience across diverse therapeutic settings. After working as a Family-Based therapist for 10 years, serving children, adolescents, and families, I transitioned to outpatient mental health, where I was licensed as an associate counselor before obtaining my full professional licensure. My practice encompasses work with clients across the lifespan (ages 5-100). It includes specialized competencies in LGBTQ+ affirming care, neurodivergent populations, and a broad range of presenting concerns, including depression, anxiety, family conflicts, parenting, bipolar disorder, life transitions, and personality disorders. I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University and am currently pursuing doctoral studies in Mind-Body Medicine at Saybrook University, where I continue to deepen my integrative approach to therapeutic practice.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is one of collaboration with my clients, as I believe you are the expert of your own life. I am eclectic in my practice, which means I draw from various therapeutic approaches to find what works best for you. Whether we're working with evidence-based techniques, exploring mindfulness practices, or integrating body-centered awareness, my goal is to create a therapeutic space where you feel safe to explore, heal, and grow at your own pace.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we'll explore what has brought you to therapy and begin collaborating on goals that feel meaningful to you. This initial meeting is really about us getting to know each other and establishing what you'd like to work on together. I approach therapy with an open mind and a laid-back demeanor, so you can expect a space where laughter is welcome, questions are encouraged, and acceptance is a given. My goal is for you to leave our first session feeling heard and hopeful about the work ahead.
