Great to meet you!

I work with clients within a loving and curious stance. I adore laughing with clients and yet always invite the pain and suffering within to have a voice in sessions. All parts are welcome, for this leads to your trust of, and understanding of, your self.

I enjoy working with questions & ideas we have around making meaning in our lives, especially in these strange times. My teachers are Carl Jung, Ram Dass, Sonya Rene Taylor, psychedelics, music, the forest, and animals.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Compassion and curiosity are always my guides in working with you. I use a dialectic (both/and) approach to my work and will ask of you to hold the tensions of the opposites in yourself. We will identify harmful structures and systems that are rooted in fostering and replicating trauma within you, and look to strengthening your concept of self, so that you can move more freely in this complicated world.

What you can expect from our first session

My approach is warm, and my desire is to create a space where you feel no judgement, but more so curiosity about yourself and the world.

You can expect me to be interactive in our sessions and always striving to understand your experience and your unique perspective. I am not a passive therapist. I get in the mix of it with you.

I use humor often and I revel in the weird, unique, and beautiful ways we all express who we are.
