Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) dedicated to providing compassionate, culturally competent, and holistic mental health care.

My approach to treatment is centered on truly seeing the individual—recognizing that each client brings a unique story, background, and set of strengths. I strive to create a safe, respectful space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to take an active role in their healing journey.

With a background in advanced practice nursing in psychiatry I have experience working with individuals across the lifespan and treating a range of mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and more. My practice integrates evidence-based treatments with an understanding of each client’s cultural identity, values, and personal goals.

I believe that mental health care is not one-size-fits-all. Whether through medication management, therapy, or supportive coaching, I tailor my care to meet each person’s unique needs. My goal is to partner with you in achieving lasting wellness—emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

I look forward to walking alongside you as we work together toward healing and growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and cultural humility. I believe that healing begins with a trusting relationship, and I strive to create a space where clients feel respected, safe, and truly seen for who they are.

I practice with a holistic lens, which means I consider the full picture—mental, emotional, physical, cultural, and spiritual. Every individual is more than a diagnosis, and I aim to honor each person’s lived experience, values, and identity in the treatment process.

I work collaboratively with clients to identify clear, realistic goals and to develop personalized care plans that may include medication management, supportive therapy, psychoeducation, lifestyle modifications, or referrals to other healing resources. My clinical style is warm, non-judgmental, and strengths based. I encourage open communication and active participation, empowering clients to take charge of their mental health journey.

I have experience treating a range of conditions, including depression, anxiety, trauma, bipolar disorder, and ADHD. I am especially passionate about working with clients from diverse backgrounds and underserved communities, ensuring that care is not only effective but also equitable and culturally responsive.

Ultimately, my goal is to walk beside you—not in front or behind—as we work together toward healing, stability, and meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect our sessions to be a supportive, respectful, and collaborative space where they feel heard, valued, and empowered. My goal is to create an environment of trust and psychological safety—one where healing is nurtured through compassion, cultural awareness, and shared decision-making.

Together, we will work to develop a personalized care plan based on your unique needs, strengths, and life goals. You can expect to leave each session with a greater sense of clarity, self-awareness, and actionable steps that support your mental wellness. Whether we're addressing mood regulation, anxiety, trauma recovery, or managing life transitions, our work will focus on progress—not perfection.

I aim to help you:

  • Build insight into patterns and triggers
  • Develop practical tools for emotional regulation and resilience
  • Improve your relationships and communication
  • Gain confidence in managing symptoms
  • Achieve greater alignment between your mental health and personal values

Above all, you can expect care that sees you as a whole person—not just a diagnosis. I am here to walk beside you, helping you move toward healing, balance, and meaningful growth at your pace.
