Great to meet you!

I specialize in working with individuals struggling with anxiety, codependency, and boundaries. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, overthinking everything, putting everyone else's needs before their own, or feeling responsible for keeping the people around them happy. They may have difficulty saying no, feel guilty when they set limits, remain in unhealthy relationship patterns, or struggle to recognize their own needs after spending years taking care of others.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent over a decade working in group homes, supporting individuals with a wide range of mental health and behavioral needs. I also spent eight years working in an inpatient mental health setting. These experiences gave me the opportunity to work with people from many different backgrounds and at very different points in their lives, and they continue to shape the way I approach therapy today.

My approach to therapy

I want clients to understand not only what they are struggling with, but why certain patterns developed and what they can do differently moving forward. Together, we can work on quieting anxious thoughts, recognizing unhealthy relationship patterns, setting and maintaining boundaries, communicating needs, building confidence, and learning that caring about others does not have to mean sacrificing yourself.

I believe therapy should feel like a genuine conversation in a space where you can be yourself without judgment. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, develop practical skills you can use outside of therapy, and create healthier relationships with both yourself and the people in your life.

I approach therapy with compassion, empathy, humor, affirmations and meet each individual where they are at in their journey.
