Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC), I believe every individual has the ability to grow, heal, and create meaningful change. I provide a compassionate, genuine, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to be themselves while working collaboratively toward their goals.

I have experience supporting adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, and substance use. My approach balances empathy with practical tools, helping clients better understand themselves, build healthier patterns, and develop the skills needed to create lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and guided by a person-centered philosophy. I believe a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, authenticity, and acceptance is essential for meaningful progress.

Using CBT, I help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, identify unhelpful patterns, and develop healthier ways of coping. I also integrate Reality Therapy and Choice Theory to encourage self-awareness, personal responsibility, and effective decision-making, while incorporating Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to highlight strengths and create achievable goals.

I believe all emotions serve a purpose, and together we will explore how to understand, regulate, and respond to those emotions in ways that support your well-being and personal growth.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a comfortable, trusting relationship. I understand starting therapy can feel vulnerable, so I strive to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and free from judgment.

We will discuss what brings you to therapy, explore your current challenges, review relevant background information, and identify your goals for treatment. You can expect me to listen with compassion, ask thoughtful questions, and work collaboratively with you to develop a personalized approach that meets your unique needs.
