Great to meet you!

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and finding a therapist you feel comfortable with matters. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who provides a supportive, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where clients can feel heard and understood. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, stress, and difficulties with self-esteem. My approach is collaborative and practical, helping clients better understand patterns that may be holding them back while developing coping skills that can be used in everyday life. I believe therapy is not about having all the answers—it is about creating a space where you can better understand yourself, recognize your strengths, and begin making meaningful changes at your own pace.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is collaborative, client-centered, and integrative. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT-informed interventions, mindfulness, and trauma-informed practices to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and experiences. I believe in meeting clients where they are while also gently challenging patterns that may be keeping them stuck. My goal is to provide a supportive and nonjudgmental space while helping clients develop practical coping skills, build on their strengths, and create meaningful changes in their everyday lives.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin exploring what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about what you’ve been experiencing, what you would like support with, and what you hope to gain from therapy, but you will never be expected to share more than you are comfortable with. We’ll begin identifying your strengths, current challenges, and patterns that may be affecting you. My approach is collaborative, so we’ll work together to determine what you would like to focus on and what may be most helpful moving forward. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer idea of what our work together can look like.
