Great to meet you!

Our relationship to self is the most important one that we will ever have. A bond with a supportive therapist who witnesses and understands us is instrumental in helping us to improve that relationship, and in helping us to make changes to the way we relate to ourselves and the world around us. Trauma, attachment issues, toxic families of origin, oppression, grief, and neurodiversity are just some just some factors that make it more difficult to live in the present and find fulfillment in life. I have ten years of clinical experience and have successfully treated clients with depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar, and ADHD/ASD/OCD.

My approach to therapy

I have a background in Marriage and Family Therapy and training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, trauma, Emotion Focused Therapy, Attachment Theory, EFT tapping, Mindfulness, and Polyvagal Theory to help clients move away from shame and guilt based patterns resultant from "big and little t" traumas. I use a psychospiritual lens during therapy when requested.

What you can expect from me

You are welcome to reach out and schedule a free consult call if you are interested in working with me! At this time I am only doing online counseling sessions, and do not work with children under fifteen. I am however willing and able to work with parents in their own sessions to help them understand how to better support the needs of their young children.
