Hi there! I'm Stephanie Peters. I am an energetic, friendly results-oriented Licensed Clinician Social Work with 20 years of clinical experience who is looking for individuals who really want results. I use nontraditional methods to help individuals overcome stress, anxiety, depression, grief or relationship issues as well as a host of other mental health challenges. I graduated from Fordham University with Master's in Social Work and also have a law degree specializing in Family Law.

My approach to therapy

Having a session with me should never feel like you are in a "therapy session." It will feel more like you are simply having a conversation with a good friend or close family in a safe environment. I am a good listener who wants to see you win and find solutions to your daily struggles.

What you can expect from me

I can help you find hope in resolving past trauma and negative childhood experiences. I can also help with reducing symptoms anxiety and depression. And if you having be able to get sleep, I can give you some simple methods of how to lower levels of stress and anxiety and increase levels of happiness and help get you some better sleep.
