Great to meet you!

I earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Wright State University and a master's degree degree in counseling from Clemson University. Before private practice, I provided individual and group therapy to college students, domestic violence survivors, terminally ill hospice patients, and LGBTQ+ individuals. I am a Gen X Midwesterner with 25+ years experience. ENFP, 7x2, Ironman Finisher, Sober, Queer.

My approach to therapy

I use ACT (Acceptance & Commitment Therapy) to help clients make meaningful inside-out change over time. The overall aim is clarifying what is important to you, staying open to the experiences of your life, and committing to act on the things that matter most to you. All care is trauma informed and LGBTQ+ affirming.

What you can expect from me

Though it is not realistic to "feel good" after every session, you will leave knowing what you can focus on in between meetings. This may include somatic practices, mindfulness skills, or homework related to your specific treatment goals that makes sense based on our discussion.
