Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Stephanie Quintanar and I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2008 and have been working with clients since I graduated with my Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Counseling since 2006. I have worked with a wide range of clients from varying backgrounds, cultures, and religions. I've worked with individuals facing unique issues from substance abuse, to domestic violence, to postpartum depression, as well as anxiety and family/marital conflict.

My approach to therapy

I am a very empathetic, warm, and caring person and love helping people find the strength to cope with the issues of life. I enjoy incorporating Christian faith into the counseling process with those who wish to engage in this way. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy and enjoying diving into underlying and unconscious thought process and beliefs that can drive anxiety and depression.

What you can expect from me

I like to create a warm and inviting atmosphere that is accepting with no prejudgments. I want clients to feel safe and able to trust the process of opening up to a stranger! We work together to identify the issues and how to move forward with their own unique and personalized goals and treatment.
