Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Stephanie, a Licensed Professional Counselor who is deeply passionate about supporting children, adolescents, families, and young adults as they navigate life’s ups and downs. I believe healing happens best when people feel safe, understood, and supported as their whole selves—mind, body, and heart.

Originally from Phoenix, Arizona and raised in a military family, I grew up experiencing frequent transitions and change. These early experiences shaped my understanding of resilience, identity, and the emotional impact of instability—insights that now guide my trauma-informed and compassionate approach to therapy.

I have six years of experience in the mental health field, including three years as a practicing therapist. My work blends evidence-based approaches such as Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) with a holistic, integrative lens. I am certified in holistic and integrative healing, allowing me to incorporate mindfulness, body-based awareness, and grounding techniques that help clients feel more connected, regulated, and empowered.

I especially enjoy working with children and teens, meeting them where they are through creativity, curiosity, and developmentally appropriate tools. Whether your child is struggling with anxiety, emotional regulation, trauma, or life transitions—or you’re a family seeking better communication and connection—I strive to create a space that feels calm, supportive, and approachable for everyone involved.

I am LGBTQ+ affirming and committed to creating an inclusive, welcoming environment where all identities, cultures, and backgrounds are respected and valued.

Outside of the therapy room, you can usually find me spending time outdoors with my dog, Sam, getting absorbed in a good book, or finding inspiration through travel and new experiences.

My approach to therapy

With six years of experience in mental health and three years as a therapist, I take an integrative, whole-person approach to therapy. My clinical work is rooted in evidence-based modalities such as Solution-Focused Therapy, DBT, and Trauma-Focused CBT, and is complemented by my certification in holistic and integrative healing. This allows me to thoughtfully incorporate mindfulness and body-centered practices to support balanced, sustainable healing.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a time for us to begin building rapport and understanding your needs. We’ll review your background, current concerns, and what you’d like to gain from therapy. I’ll also explain my approach, answer any questions you have, and collaborate with you on next steps. My goal is for you to leave the session feeling supported, informed, and confident about moving forward together.
