Great to meet you!

You may look capable on the outside, but inside you feel overwhelmed, anxious, resentful, distracted, or exhausted from holding everything together.

I help adults who look like they are holding everything together, but internally feel anxious, scattered, overwhelmed, self-critical, or exhausted from carrying too much. Many of my clients are navigating ADHD, anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, burnout, and emotionally immature or narcissistic family dynamics.

Together, we work to understand the patterns that keep you stuck, build healthier boundaries, strengthen self-trust, and create a life that feels more steady, honest, and less driven by guilt or pressure. My style is warm, practical, honest, and human. For clients who want it, I’m glad to integrate Christian faith in a way that feels compassionate, grounded, and never pressured.

My approach to therapy

What makes my work different is that I am very engaged in the therapy room. I do not just sit back, nod, and let you talk without direction. I listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, help you connect patterns, and offer honest reflection in a way that feels compassionate rather than judgmental.

Many clients come to therapy knowing they feel anxious, overwhelmed, resentful, stuck, or exhausted, but they do not always know why. In session, I help slow things down and organize what may feel scattered or confusing. We look at what happened, what you felt, what your body and nervous system did, what old patterns showed up, and what you may have needed but did not know how to ask for.

I often help clients find language for things they have felt for years but could never fully explain. We may name roles you learned to carry, protective patterns that once helped you survive, beliefs that keep you stuck, or relationship cycles that leave you feeling small, guilty, responsible, or disconnected from yourself.

I also care about therapy being useful outside of the session. I offer practical tools, communication language, boundary support, nervous system awareness, and ways to respond differently in real life. My style is warm and compassionate, but also honest, direct, and active. I use humor when it fits because healing work can be deep and meaningful without feeling cold, overly clinical, or heavy all the time.

My goal is for clients to leave sessions feeling understood, clearer about what is happening inside of them, and more equipped to move through life with steadiness, self-trust, and compassion.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect me to be present, engaged, and intentional. I know starting therapy can feel vulnerable, especially if you are used to being the one who has to keep it together, explain everything well, or make sure other people are comfortable. You will not be expected to come in with a perfect timeline, the right words, or a clear starting point.

We will begin by talking through what has been feeling heavy, confusing, stressful, or hard to manage. I will ask questions that help us understand not only what is happening in your life, but how it is affecting you emotionally, mentally, relationally, physically, and spiritually if that matters to you. I pay close attention to patterns — the repeated reactions, relationship dynamics, coping strategies, fears, and beliefs that may be shaping how you feel and respond.

What clients often notice is that I do not just gather information and send you on your way. I help organize what feels tangled. I reflect what I am hearing, name themes that may be hard to see from the inside, and help you begin making connections between your current struggles and the deeper patterns underneath them.

The first session is also a chance for you to experience my style. I am warm, honest, practical, and human. I use humor when it fits, I ask thoughtful questions, and I try to create a space where you can be real without feeling judged, analyzed, or pressured to perform.

By the end of our first session, my hope is that you feel more settled, more understood, and more clear about where we can begin. You may not have everything figured out, but you should leave with a sense that there is a direction, and that you do not have to sort through it alone.
