Great to meet you!

I am a licensed psychologist with over 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families, including those navigating trauma, anxiety, and complex family situations. My background includes work in hospital, school, and community mental health settings, as well as leadership in behavioral health programs. I specialize in helping families and individuals manage high-stress situations, life transitions, and decision-making when circumstances feel overwhelming. My approach is practical, compassionate, and focused on helping clients feel more confident, organized, and supported.

My approach to therapy

I see therapy as a place to both feel supported and figure out what to do next. Many of my clients come to therapy because they are overwhelmed, stuck, or facing complicated situations involving family, work, or major life decisions. I help people organize their thoughts, understand their emotions, and develop a clear plan forward. My approach is compassionate, but also very practical and focused on real-life situations.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a place to slow down and talk through what is going on and what you are hoping will change. I will ask questions to understand your situation and help identify patterns, stressors, and priorities. We will also talk about goals and what feeling better or more stable would look like for you. My goal is that you leave the first session feeling heard, clearer about next steps, and more hopeful about your situation.
