Great to meet you!

Something brought you here today. With 25 years working alongside people in community mental health settings, I have learned that deciding to start therapy takes

real courage. My work begins where you are, not where someone thinks you should be. Whether you are carrying anxiety, grief, relationship strain, the weight of life transitions, or simply wondering if things could feel different, I want to hear your whole story before we figure out the path forward. Everyone has their own, and we will find yours together.

My approach to therapy

Therapy should feel like a real conversation. I begin by getting to know you in context: not just what brings you to therapy today, but how you live, what matters to you, and

what gets in the way. Depending on what serves you best, I draw from approaches that help you notice unhelpful thought patterns and shift them, build practical tools for

managing overwhelming feelings, or reconnect with your body when stress or anxiety keeps you stuck in your head. Your goals are yours to set. My job is to help you get there,

and to make sure every step of the work feels like yours too.

What you can expect from me

I want our first meeting to leave you feeling safe, supported, and hopeful. What brings you to therapy? What do you want your life to look like 6 months from now? Your history is important, but equally so is what your life looks like right now. The first session will be the beginning of getting to know you, and for you to ask questions get to know me. Together we will identify and prioritize your goals, and I'll walk beside you as you build your own capacity for more.
