Great to meet you!

I believe the most important things about me are my values including learning, growth, balance, authenticity, and connection. For me, the path to any of these is through all sorts of spiritual practice: spending time outside, quiet time, rest, digital detox, being creative, exercise, yoga..

Education and experience I bring into my role as a therapist:

Degrees in Clinical Social Work and Education

14 years experience as an elementary school teacher

2 years experience in a residential treatment center for mental health including substance use disorders

6+ years experience as an IOP therapist with focus on DBT and CPT.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach is to be curious about you, your goals, values, and understanding of yourself and the world around you. My role is to validate your thoughts, feelings, and how your experience life in general. I am here to provide a supportive listening ear and as much input and guidance as you are looking for.

What you can expect from our first session

You can expect to leave sessions with an increased sense of compassion for yourself, increased clarity on your goals, and a sense of empowerment to overcome obstacles to living a more satisfying life, aligned with your authentic self.
