Great to meet you!

Welcome — I’m Stephanie Spjuth, LCSW, founder and clinical director of Hope Counseling. I created this practice to be a safe, supportive space where people can heal, grow, and reconnect with themselves. I believe therapy works best when it’s collaborative, respectful, and centered around your unique needs. My approach combines compassion, curiosity, and evidence-based care to help you move toward a more meaningful, connected life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, respectful, and client-centered. I believe in creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where individuals can explore their experiences at their own pace. I draw from evidence-based practices and integrate insights from ongoing learning, clinical research, and self-study. I emphasize that healing is a personal process and that the real power for change lies within the individual — my role is to support, guide, and empower that journey.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to feel seen, heard, and supported in a space that honors their pace and process. They’ll gain practical tools for managing emotions, navigating relationships, and building resilience. Over time, clients often develop a deeper understanding of themselves, increased self-compassion, and greater clarity about what matters most to them.
