Great to meet you!

My main specialty is working with clients who have experienced any trauma, including sexual abuse and assault and incest, also issues that develop when trying to cope with trauma, such as addictions, including sex and love addiction, relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, and more. I have an affinity with LGBTQ clients, and have supported them through the many challenges that they face, including transitioning, coming out, discrimination, identity development, sexuality, and others.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is eclectic, pulling from a myriad of techniques and theories to find what works for you, having a main focus on the therapeutic relationship, building trust, safety, and comfort. I am also a Certified Yoga Teacher, adding to a holistic approach to healing, seeing the person as not just a body or mind, but also as a heart, soul, and spirit, with all making up the whole being.

What you can expect from me

My hope is that you will feel a growing sense of safety, understanding and compassion for self. We will work together to understand what is behind unhealthy thoughts and patterns and find ways that work for you to shift them.
