Great to meet you!

I have worked in the mental health field for 15 years and have experience working with a variety of populations including inpatient, outpatient, social work in therapeutic day school, max security psych unit, and private practice.

-

I have a passion for helping people improve their day-to-day functioning and overall success in life. I believe that my role in counseling is to educate and empower my clients to realize that they are truly capable of helping themselves live their best lives if they want it.

-

I work particularly well with those ready to engage in a straightforward, empowering therapeutic process focused on lasting personal growth. If you’re looking for a therapist who will walk beside you while also pushing you to thrive, I’m here for you.

My approach to therapy

My approach is straightforward and supportive, ideal for those who want a therapist who will challenge, motivate, and walk alongside them on their journey toward lasting change. I seek to accomplish this by helping clients understand the importance of effective emotion regulation, thought awareness, healthy communication, and self-worth, in order to establish sustainable long-term solutions and successful outcomes for years to come.

-

The therapeutic methods I use are Internal Family Systems, DBT, ACT, and schema.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I’ll take time to introduce myself and help you feel comfortable with the process. We’ll walk through an intake that gives me a chance to learn more about you, your story, and what led you to seek therapy. From there, we’ll begin to create a personalized plan with clear goals—your unique blueprint to guide our work together as you move from simply surviving to truly thriving.
