Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Stephanie and I’ve been providing mental health care and psychotherapy for almost 20 years, with my LCSW. My approach focuses on personal experiences and how your thoughts impact emotions. This can create patterns in how you think, feel, and relate to others, shaping your worldview in ways that may feel limiting or overwhelming. I also offer LGBTQ+ affirming, trauma‐informed support for individuals navigating identity development, minority stress, relationship challenges, and family dynamics. With an integrative and evidenced based approach, I will provide you the space and safety needed that supports personal growth and well-being.

My approach to therapy

I believe in meeting clients exactly where they are, creating a supportive and nonjudgmental space that fosters insight, personal growth, and a deeper understanding of the factors that influence mood and well‐being. Over the years, I have worked with depression, PTSD, anxiety, bipolar disorder, substance use, thought disorders, and personality disorders. I use CBT, MI, Solution‐Focused, Person‐Centered, and Psychodynamic approaches.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to empower you with practical, positive coping skills so you can feel more grounded, capable, and in control of your daily life. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy helps you clearly see how your thoughts shape your feelings and actions. Many clients find it empowering to recognize unhelpful patterns and learn how to shift them, leading to more balanced reactions and healthier behaviors. Motivational Interviewing adds another layer of support by helping us explore what truly drives your desire for change.
