Great to meet you!

Before becoming a therapist, I was a social worker for twenty years, working in the fields of child abuse, adoptions, and inpatient psychiatric/acute medical care. Crisis intervention, trauma and abuse have become my strong suits with experience. As a therapist, I am equipped to help you with topics that can be hard to talk about, such as trauma history, child abuse, suicidal thoughts, shame, relationship struggles, sexual health / sexual identity concerns. ENM/Poly and kink affirming.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My clients often report liking my warm style and open minded approach. I am told that I am empowering and direct, yet inquisitive and respectful. Therapy is not a "one size fits all" relationship, and I tailor my interventions to fit your needs.

What you can expect from our first session

You can expect to feel heard and seen when working with me, and to be given real-time tools to address your symptoms and foster growth. I give homework, and am invested in your healing and progress.
