Great to meet you!

I am a genuinely compassionate, caring, non-judgmental, and open minded individual. These skills have easily transfer ed into the therapeutic environment. During 20 years of practice as a therapist, I have strived and continue to provide clients with a safe and confidential environment for them to explore and move forward in their journey and process towards healing, Problem resolution starts with initiative and motivation develops after you make the first step ,but it all begins with you.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is quite eclectic. I have discovered, person centered ( the ability to listen), cognitive behavioral, solution focused, psychodynamic and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) approaches to be quite beneficial in addressing many issues and treating symptoms and disorders associated with anxiety, depression, trauma, ptsd, marital/relationship, parenting and grief. I simply meet clients where they are at and support them with progressing forward.

What you can expect from our first session

After the initial session, clients will have developed a greater understanding and trust of the therapeutic process, the role of the therapist, confidentiality, informed consent along with confirming that they have been listened too. Clients will determine if therapy is an appropriate option at this time. Moving forward clients will develop improved insight into the cause and impact of the issues that brought them into care and develop a plan of care to move them toward problem resolution.
