Walden University, 2021, M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

I use the principles of Buddhism as taught by Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh to enrich my clinical practice. Since 2008, I have studied mindfulness and retreated to his practice center Magnolia Grove Monastery (Batesville, MS).

Catholic Christian mysticism.

I work the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous.

I also draw clinically from MBCT, DBT and ACT.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I am direct and mindful. Together, we can discover what thoughts, feelings and actions work for you and which ones hinder you. Through my encouragement and clinical guidance, you can learn ways to discern positive and negative patterns in your life, adopt healthy skills and release unproductive habits.
