Great to meet you!

I aim to create a space that is both supportive and appropriately challenging, where feedback, including frustration or feeling stuck, is welcomed as part of the process. I maintain clear boundaries around sessions, communication, and confidentiality so expectations are predictable and safety is prioritized, and I’m transparent about how I approach risk and clinical decision-making. My goal is to help clients build practical skills, process meaningful experiences, and create lasting change, and I will always be honest about my limits and collaborate on referrals if something falls outside my scope.

My approach to therapy

I prioritize both stabilization and meaningful change, pacing the work to each client’s readiness—especially in trauma and dissociation—while maintaining clear boundaries and a predictable therapeutic frame. I work collaboratively, welcome feedback and rupture as part of the process, and aim to create a space that is supportive, nonjudgmental, and appropriately challenging, with a focus on building practical tools, increasing psychological flexibility, and fostering long-term resilience.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect the first session to be structured, collaborative, and focused on understanding what brings them in while beginning to establish a sense of safety and direction. I’ll gather background information, clarify current concerns, and ask targeted questions to start forming a clinical picture, while also explaining how I work and what therapy with me will look like. We’ll review boundaries, confidentiality, and expectations so the process feels predictable and grounded. I move at a pace that respects readiness—especially with trauma—so there’s no pressure to go deeper than feels manageable. By the end of the session, clients can expect a clearer sense of goals, an initial plan for how we’ll proceed, and the opportunity to ask questions or give feedback about the fit.
