Dr. Bell is a licensed clinical psychologist with a child specialty and sees clients across the lifespan. He practices CBT with technical eclecticism. His sees therapeutic relationship and spiritual wellness as key to healing.

Dr. Bell completed Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in accounting at Auburn in 1991 and a doctor of philosophy degree at The University of Memphis in 2001. He completed internship at the UF-HSC.

My approach to therapy

Dr. Bell is trained in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (www.pcit.org) for work with young children and employs technical eclecticism for general therapies. In general, a therapeutic relationship based on understanding and authenticity, person to person, and good science is essential to improvements in therapy.

In some cases, Dr. Bell teaches research supported skills to overcome issues, and in all cases he seeks to provide a space that promotes insight oriented wellness in a non-judgmental therapeutic alliance.
