Great to meet you!

First, I'd like to acknowledge the courage it takes to reach out for help! It's important to find a therapist who is a good fit for you, and I hope this will help you make that decision.

I started my career with a passion for helping children and teens heal from severe trauma and domestic violence. In my own practice, I've come to love supporting clients of all ages. I especially enjoy working with underdogs—people who struggle to find a place to belong; who are lonely or marginalized.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I would describe my counseling style as patient, compassionate, and collaborative. Even though I'm the therapist, I see every client as an expert in their own life. I'll learn from your experiences and build on your strengths while offering my own perspective. I will never force you to do anything you are not ready to do, but I will offer challenges that will help you grow into the best version of yourself.

What you can expect from our first session

I work from a trauma-informed perspective, with an understanding of the hard work that long-lasting change requires. If you work with me, you will feel heard and respected. My clients often tell me that my insights help them see things in a new light.

It might also be worth noting that I have ADHD. Learning to live with this has put me in a unique position to understand the experience of neurodiverse people.
