Stephen Honaker

Hello, and welcome to my profile. My name is Stephen Honaker and I am a Florida Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 20+ years of experience in the field of mental and emotional health. My passion and my calling is in helping my clients find direction, healing, restoration and joy in their lives. I have a high degree of expertise in helping clients find freedom from addictions, depression, anxiety and various traumas. I also have extensive experience in family and relational issues.

While I use a number of different modalities of therapy to assist my patients, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Solution Focused Therapy, what is most important to me is that my clients know that they are cared for and supported on this journey.

It is an incredibly important and courageous decision to seek help and for one to place their faith in the hands of a clinician. My clients will always know that I honor and value that decision. My clients will walk away from each session knowing that they were both heard and seen. My clients will also leave each session with at least one practical tool that they can use to better their lives.
