Great to meet you!

I have a Bachelor's in Spanish and Psychology and I have a Master's in Social Work. I am a licensed alcohol and drug abuse counselor and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in multiple states. As well as experience in treating substance use disorders I also have knowledge and experience in treating trauma as I am certified in EMDR and Brainspotting.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I like to listen to clients to hear their story first before advising anything. I believe they are the experts of themselves and everyone has a story, just not someone to listen to it. I use a very non-confrontational approach with my clients as I let them guide where the therapy session needs to go. I am open-minded and believe I am a very good advocate as I can always try to see things from my client's perspective.

What you can expect from our first session

Client's should feel heard and known after leaving a session with me. They will feel cared for and will be challenged in new ways that will foster positive self-improvement.
