Great to meet you!

If you've spent years being the dependable one—at work, at home, or in your relationships—but lately feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or like what used to work isn't working anymore, you're not alone.

For more than 30 years, I've helped adults and couples navigate anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. Many of the people I work with are professionals, business owners, healthcare workers, caregivers, and couples who have carried a lot for a long time and are ready for things to feel different.

My approach is straightforward, practical, and compassionate. I'll listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and help you better understand what's keeping you stuck. Together, we'll develop practical strategies you can use outside of therapy so you can move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and connection.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be a place where you can slow down, make sense of what's happening, and develop practical ways to move forward. My role isn't to tell you what to do—it's to help you better understand yourself, recognize patterns that are keeping you stuck, and build the skills and confidence to create meaningful change.

My approach is collaborative, active, and tailored to your needs. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and other evidence-based approaches, but I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all model. Together, we'll identify what's getting in your way, challenge unhelpful patterns, and develop practical tools you can use long after our sessions end. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, more confident, and better equipped to navigate whatever life brings your way.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a conversation—not an interrogation. It's an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what's brought you to therapy.

We'll talk about what's been weighing on you, what's already been tried, and what you're hoping will be different. Together, we'll start identifying the patterns that may be keeping you stuck and begin developing a plan that feels realistic and meaningful.

Most people leave their first session feeling a little more hopeful, with greater clarity about what's going on and a few practical ideas they can begin using right away.
