Great to meet you!

At Child and Adolescent Psychiatry of Southern New Jersey, we specialize in psychiatric care for children, adolescents, and adults, and we've spent decades doing this work at every level — from a child struggling to focus in school, to complex cases involving severe autism, suicidal behavior, substance use, and everything in between. We don't cherry-pick the easy cases. We show up for the hard ones.

What makes us different: We're not content to offer what every other practice offers. We are constantly evolving — because psychiatry is evolving — and we believe our patients deserve access to the most advanced, effective tools available anywhere.

My approach to therapy

That includes psychiatric pharmacogenomics — genetic testing that tells us exactly how your body processes medication, so we can tailor treatment to your biology instead of guessing. And we're proud to be the only practice in New Jersey offering Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), a non-medication treatment for depression delivered by a Visiting Fellow from Duke University. When medication alone isn't enough, we have options most practices simply don't.

What you can expect from me

But we also haven't abandoned the fundamentals. We offer psychoanalytic psychotherapy — a depth of care that has become rare in modern psychiatry — alongside spiritually-focused care, expert witness court evaluations, and comprehensive substance use treatment for cannabis, opioids, and alcohol across all ages.

The breadth of what we offer exists for one reason: we refuse to let the limits of a typical practice become the limits of your care.

If you're ready for a team that will meet the full complexity of what you or your child is facing — we're ready for you.
