I have been in practice for 40+ years and hold both Masters and Doctorate degrees in the Clinical Practice of psychotherapy and assessment. My specialties include helping treat those with bipolar disorders, trauma/PTSD and serious mental illnesses.

Over the course of my career I have served children, adolescents and families and have studied and been trained in a variety of approaches; including, CBT, RET, CPT, IPT, SFBT MBCT, PFT, and Sandplay.

Initial meeting is to understand what problems led to the decision to seek treatment. What finally prompted your decision to seek psychotherapy? How did your symptoms interfere with the quality of your life, including relationships, work, leisure, interests energy, parenting and energy? How long have you been struggling with these problems. What strategies were used and how effective were they in alleviating your symptoms? Were you seen by a psychiatrist and, if so, did you undergo any medication trials and what was your experience with these medications?
