Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience helping adults navigate trauma, life transitions, relationship difficulties, addiction and recovery, anxiety, and depression. My approach is trauma-informed and incorporates CBT, attachment-based therapy, brainspotting, and principles from Gottman Method training. I have a particular interest in working with men who may be struggling with relationships, emotional connection, shame, identity, or finding a greater sense of purpose. I believe therapy should address not only symptoms, but also the experiences and patterns that may be contributing to them. For clients who are open to it, I also welcome the integration of Christian faith and spirituality into the therapeutic process.

My approach to therapy

My style is conversational, compassionate, and direct, with an emphasis on building a genuine and collaborative therapeutic relationship. I help clients look beneath the surface to better understand the thoughts, emotions, relationships, and past experiences that may be influencing their current struggles. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor therapy to each person and their individual needs and goals. Together, we work toward greater self-awareness, healthier patterns, stronger relationships, and meaningful change that extends beyond the therapy room.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for me to get to know you, understand what brought you to therapy, and learn what you hope to gain from the process. We will discuss your current concerns, relevant experiences and relationships, and begin identifying goals for our work together. You do not need to arrive knowing exactly what to say or having everything figured out. I encourage questions and open communication so you can also get a sense of whether my approach feels like a good fit for you. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of where we can begin.
