Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families. I hold an MSW from Wayne State University and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Michigan State University, and I bring a practical, real-world perspective shaped by leadership roles in behavioral health and human services.

My approach is warm, direct, and collaborative. I specialize in anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, men’s issues, and midlife questions around purpose, work, and identity. I focus on therapy that is both reflective and practical, helping clients gain insight and apply it in their daily lives.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, thoughtful, and practical. I create a space where clients can be honest without feeling judged or rushed, focusing on insight paired with real-world tools. I draw from relational, cognitive-behavioral, and strengths-based approaches and tailor therapy to each client. I specialize in anxiety, life transitions, relationship concerns, men’s issues, and midlife questions around identity and purpose. I see therapy as a partnership—offering support, honest feedback, and gentle challenge to support meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, you can expect a relaxed, supportive, and collaborative space. We’ll focus on what brought you to therapy, what you’d like to change, and what feels most important right now—without pressure to share your entire life story. We’ll begin identifying initial goals, and most clients leave with greater clarity and a sense of direction for our work together.
