Great to meet you!

I'm a licensed clinical social worker who provides compassionate, person-centered therapy to adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, family conflict, workplace stress, addiction, and life transitions. My work is rooted in evidence-based approaches and informed by Buddhist psychology, which means I care as much about how you relate to your inner world as I do about concrete change. I trained at Temple University and spent the early part of my career working with people in psychiatric crisis, so I've sat with some of the hardest moments people face. If you're ready to feel less stuck and more like yourself, I'd love to connect.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in what actually works for you. I draw on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you relate differently to difficult thoughts and feelings, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to identify patterns that keep you stuck, and Solution-Focused approaches to build on your existing strengths. My work is also informed by Buddhist psychology and a deep respect for how culture, identity, and life history shape the challenges you face. Sessions are conversational: I won't lecture you or hand you homework you don't want. I'll ask honest questions, notice things you might have glossed over, and help you move toward a life that actually fits.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a conversation, not an intake form. I'll ask about what's brought you here, what you've already tried, and what you're hoping feels different. You don't need to have it all figured out. Most people leave our first session feeling clearer about where to start and a little less alone with what they've been carrying.
