Great to meet you!

I am a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in Utah and Montana. I recently completed my PhD in Psychology at Walden University. I completed my Master's degree at Liberty University and worked in an outpatient substance abuse section for 6 years, then transitioned to the VA for a couple of years. I work with a trauma-informed mental health mindset, dedicated to supporting individuals and families struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship problems, and trauma. Utilizing evidence-based therapies such as EMDR, Gottman couples therapy, CBT, and DBT. I am available most weekdays.

My approach to therapy

Everyone has a unique story and deserves an individualized approach to care. No two people experience life the same way, which is why I tailor therapy to your specific needs, goals, and strengths. Once we decide to work together, we’ll act as partners in your therapeutic journey, collaborating to better understand your experiences and identify meaningful steps forward.

It’s important to me that we communicate openly and that you feel respected, validated, and truly heard in our work together. I strive to create a safe, supportive space where you can show up authentically without fear of judgment. I’ll be there to listen carefully, offer insight, gently challenge unhelpful patterns, and support you as you build clarity, resilience, and confidence along the way.

What you can expect from me

I always start with an introductory session, where you’ll have the opportunity to share your story and talk about what you hope to achieve in therapy. This first meeting is also a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a sense of trust and comfort. We’ll work together to start identifying your goals and what feels most important for you to focus on.

I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment that allows you to feel comfortable sharing and being vulnerable, while also feeling safe and supported throughout the process. From there, we’ll continue working together in the sessions that follow, developing practical tools, exploring meaningful insights, and taking steady steps toward making your goals a reality.
