Great to meet you!

Sometimes it is hard to tell what came first: the anxiety, the depression, or the way you have been trying to cope with both. I have spent more than 20 years working with adults and seniors navigating mental health challenges, substance use, and the complicated ways the two can feed each other. I work with people who are ready to address what is actually going on beneath the surface, not just the symptoms but the patterns that keep pulling them back. My own experience with loss is part of what brought me to this work, and it shapes the depth of understanding I bring to every session.

My approach to therapy

Our work together is practical and oriented toward real, measurable change. We will look honestly at what is working in your life and what is not, track your progress along the way, and adjust our approach when something is not landing. I care about you being able to see your own growth, not just feel it in the abstract. Whether we are working through anxiety, depression, grief, or building a foundation for a sober life, the goal is the same: to help you get to a place that actually feels like yours.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I want to understand your full picture: where you are now, what you have already tried, and what you are hoping will be different. You can expect a direct, honest conversation without judgment, and a clear sense of what working together could look like. If you are ready to stop managing and start actually moving forward, I would be glad to connect.
