Great to meet you!

I'm a licensed psychologist with over a decade of clinical experience working with adults from all walks of life. Much of my work focuses on helping people recover from trauma and PTSD, addiction and substance use, anxiety, depression, and the challenges that come with major life setbacks. I'm a certified Cognitive Processing Therapy provider and prioritize evidence-based treatments so you get support that's proven to be effective. At the same time, I firmly believe therapy should be tailored to you—your experiences, your values, and your goals—rather than fit into a standard mold. I offer sessions both in person in Great Barrington and online, along with a free 15-minute consultation to see whether we're a good match.

My approach to therapy

My work is rooted in the belief that you are the expert on your own experience, and my role is to listen, collaborate, and walk alongside you. I draw on a range of evidence-based modalities—including CBT, ACT, Cognitive Processing Therapy, DBT, mindfulness-based approaches, and motivational interviewing—and I select and blend them based on what fits your specific needs. Whether we're working through trauma, addiction, or difficulties with emotion regulation and relationships, I aim to create a supportive space for honest self-reflection and exploration. Above all, I want therapy to honor your individual journey rather than impose a one-size-fits-all formula.

What you can expect from me

The first session is about getting to know you and understanding what brought you in—there's no pressure to have everything figured out before we start. I work to create a trusting, empathetic, and nonjudgmental environment where you can speak openly and feel genuinely heard. We'll begin to clarify your goals and talk through how different approaches might support the growth and change you're hoping for. My intention is for you to leave that first conversation feeling respected, understood, and confident that we can build something productive together.
