Great to meet you!
I earned my Masters of Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1997. I have been practicing for over 25 years. I have experience working with people from all walks of life, socio-economic status and a wide array of life issues.
In addition to regular psychotherapy, I provide counseling, guidance and support to folks who are musicians, artists, actors and other creators. As a semi-professional musician for over 40 years, (acting and photography as well) I have an inside perspective into the struggles of people who are in the Arts world.
I have training and experience treating people of all ages with Tourette's Syndrome. I have been trained and certified to administer CBIT-Comprehensive Behavioral Interventions for Tics (Habit Reversal, Redirection, Tic Replacement) I utilize psychotherapy with CBIT to address the associated mental health issues and social implications.
