Great to meet you!

If you’re carrying grief, unresolved trauma, or pain that won’t ease, you’re in the right place. I’m Steven, a licensed professional counselor with 20 years of experience in mental health and substance abuse treatment. I specialize in trauma, grief, and pain work, and I’d be glad to walk alongside you toward relief and healing.

My approach to therapy

My approach centers on EMDR, a proven method for processing trauma and easing its grip on your daily life. I pair this with solution focused strategies, so our work stays practical and geared toward real, lasting relief rather than just talking about the pain. Every plan is built around your specific goals.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is mostly about getting to know you: your history, your goals, and what brought you here. From there, we’ll map out an initial plan, including your first assignments, so you leave with a clear sense of direction. Just as important, this is where we start building the trusting relationship that trauma and grief work depends on.
